Today, we honored our patron saint with a very special tradition: a vertical blind tasting of decades of Classico #StMagdalener vintages 🍷🔝.
It's always a thrill to see how our wines evolve over time, and this year was no exception! 😊 The highlight of the tasting was undoubtedly the 1977 vintage 🎉, as old as Thomas himself! 🙋‍♂️
This #SignorClassico wine was crafted by Thomas' grandfather Franz and father Heinrich, and it is surprisingly vivid even after all these years in the cellar 🤯.
We're so grateful for the opportunity to share these special wines with our friends and family. Cheers to St. Magdalena, and to many more years of making unforgettable wines! 🥂

🌍 Reflecting on the soil at #SanctMagdalena, #BolzanoBozen for #EarthDay 💚. In our vineyard amphitheater, the soil tells a diverse story spanning many thousands of years, where the Porphyry basement 🏞️ meets a symphony of layers 🗻 from ancient glacier ❄️ and river 🌊 activity.
Even in the simplest tasks, like repairing or improving a stone wall 🧱, we unearth this incredible soil diversity 🌟. The image shown is a snapshot 📸 from the wine archive cave dig in the 1990s, a glimpse into our own precious history.
